Easter Wreath

Every DIY, Mommy, or design blog you read now is about Easter, and why not... Easter is only 2 weeks away. Well I thought I will add to this Easter frenzy with my cute plastic egg wreath my 4 year old help me make. And since I have this thing for wreaths as you can read in this post it just fits perfectly. I really liked a wreath I found on This is my Life blog and couldn't say no to it. So thank you Cindi from This is my Life for a wonderful Easter decoration.
For the instructions on how to make this please refer to Cindi's blog The only changes I made are first I cut the circles about 1inch smaller and used smaller eggs about 45 of them.

Old Book Wreath

I love Wreaths,I don't know what it is about them but I just love them, I even have a whole board on Pinterest dedicated to them. My favorite so far are the yarn and felt wreaths, like this one by Jo-Anna from A Pretty Life in the Suburbs
isn't it just lovely And how about this. I absolutely adore it and will make it some day, this one is by Sandi Terese from I'm a Yarner
The one I recently made isn't as fancy as the two above but I love it. I came across the tutorial somewhere in the blog land and it's simple to make... all you need is - a cardboard circle (mine was 9") - old book - glue gun - ribbon Take the pages out of the book and glue them to the circle as far apart or as tight together as you want them, attach your ribbon at the back and done. You can fancy it up by burning the edges of the book up before you glue them on or you can distress the edges a bit more using brown ink and sponge.
